"Where does it go?" It is the main road connecting Shelton to Bremerton and then provides the freeway “backbone” for Kitsap County, connecting Bremerton, Silverdale and Poulsbo. It is also the main access, from the south, to the Hood Canal Floating Bridge connecting the Kitsap and Olympic Peninsulas.
